Angela Aki is fluent in english actually. Her mother's american, and Angela moved to the USA when she was 15 and went studied music and politics there.

For Japanese people, that level of pronounciation is excellent. I like Aki's version. It sounds a little weird at first since I'm too into Faye's version, but after couple times hearing this, I think Aki's version is as good as Faye's.. I noticed some different lyric words though between Aki's and Faye's, idk whether it's intended or just mispelled..

Good technique? how about learning how to speak english coherently? Her swings outrageous, it's like she's creating her own vocabulary. How can she destroy faye wong's original piece when she can't even speak coherently? ILL be honest, she looks like she's just got out of bed and still has a hang over trying to sing in english. voacally speaking, faye wong millions of times better. either that or you are just tone deaf!

Angela Aki sang and palyed the pianno while singing. Isn't that good enought? I think there's alot of heart in her work. She plays the piano during the concert.
